After graduating from University College London with a degree in History, James studied Law at the College of Law in London and qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 2008. He trained and qualified at London’s leading private client firm, Charles Russell, where he gained valuable experience advising clients on wills, trusts and estates.
James excels in navigating his clients through the complex issues of lifetime and succession planning. Since founding Baker Stirling in 2016, he has used his extensive experience to provide both UK and overseas clients with a personal and professional service at an affordable price.
James is a full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and he is widely recognised for his expertise in both UK and US law, having been admitted to practice as a US Attorney in 2021 (The State Bar of California).
